With the D-Link 24-Port Fast Ethernet Unmanaged Switches, you can easily expand your business or home network by adding more computers and devices, each achieving speeds up to 200 Mbps per port in full-duplex mode. Quickly and securely connect employees working in small offices with one another and with all of the servers, printers, and other devices they use. High performance and reliable connectivity help speed file transfers and data processing, improve network uptime, and keep your employees connected and productive. Expand and Upgrade Your Network The DES-1024D switch offers an economical way for SOHO and small to medium businesses (SMB) to benefit from high-speed networking. It provides twenty-four ports for easy expansion of your network and a quick way to upgrade your network to Fast Ethernet connectivity. The switches speed file transfer times, improve slow and sluggish networks, keep your vital business applications available, and help your employees respond more quickly to customers and each other. Conserve Energy The DES-1024D switch helps you conserve energy through IEEE802.3az EEE, which works when both the switch and its link partner are EEE-compliant devices. This power-saving feature automatically puts the switch into a low-power idle state when the switch utilization is zero, allowing you to lower your energy usage and save on your energy costs. Designed with the Environment in Mind The DES-1024D switch uses recyclable packaging that helps reduce waste, complying with the WEEE directive. It’s innovatively designed to run cool and quiet without sacrificing performance. |
What This Product Does
TL-SF1008P is an 8 10/100Mbps ports unmanaged switch that requires no configuration and provides 4 PoE (Power over Ethernet) ports. It can automatically detect and supply power with all IEEE 802.3af compliant Powered Devices (PDs). In this situation, the electrical power is transmitted along with data in one single cable allowing you to expand your network to where there are no power lines or outlets, where you wish to fix devices such as APs, IP Cameras or IP Phones, etc. Power over Ethernet 4 of the 8 Auto-Negotiation RJ45 ports (port-1 to port-4) of the switch support Power over Ethernet (PoE) function. These PoE ports can automatically detect and supply power with those IEEE 802.3af compliant Powered Devices (PDs). -Overload Arrangement TL-SF1008P has the priority function which will help protect the system when the system power is overloaded. If all PoE PDs power consumption is >= 57W, a priority will be arranged among the PoE ports, then the system will cut o‑ the power of the lowest-priority port. -Port Priority Function Priority (port-1=port-2=port-3>port-4): This function will help to ensure the normal operation of the system, it means Port 4 will be cut off when all total PoE PDs power consumption exceed 57W. For an example, Port 1, 2 and 4 is using 15.4W (maximum power for per port is 15.4W); the system power is 46.2W in total. If there is an additional PD inserted to Port 3 with 12W, and then the system will cut off the power of Port 4 because of the overloaded power, this means Port 1, 2 will use 15.4W, and Port3 will use 12W, no power will be supplied to Port 4. Easy To Use TL-SF1008P is easy to install and use. It requires no configuration and installation. With desktop design, outstanding performance and quality, the TP-LINK’s TL-SF1008P 8-Port 10/100Mbps Desktop Switch with 4-Port PoE is an ideal choice for expanding your home or office network. |

The DES-1005P offers an economical way for SOHO users to not only enjoy the benefit of having a five-port network switch, but having a five-port network switch with one of those ports PoE enabled. Users can then easily create a PoE home surveillance system even in locations where power sockets are limited. The addition of a PoE port to a five port switch allows SMB users an alternative to larger, more expensive switches, without having to sacrifice the need to power PoE devices.
Fast Internet Connection at Home. The D-Link DES-1005P 5-Port Fast Ethernet PoE Unmanaged Desktop Switch allows you to easily connect a Power over Ethernet (PoE) device such as a wireless access point (AP), IP camera, or IP phone. The switch also gives you the opportunity to add additional Ethernet devices such as computers, printers, and Network Attached Storage (NAS) onto your network. This compact PoE switch operates quietly, making it ideal for use in virtually any room or office. Power over Ethernet (PoE). The first port of the DES-1005P supports the IEEE 802.3af PoE standard. The port supplies a total PoE budget of 15.4 watts, allowing users to attach an IEEE 802.3af-compliant device to the DES-1005P that requires no additional power. Use PoE for applications that are far from power outlets or when you want to minimise the clutter of extra cables. Auto MDI/MDIX Crossover. All ports support automatic MDI/MDIX crossover, eliminating the need for crossover cables or uplink ports. Each port can be plugged directly to a server, hub, router, or switch using regular straight-through twisted-pair Ethernet cables. Conserves Energy. The DES-1005P 5-Port Fast Ethernet PoE Unmanaged Desktop Switch makes use of D-Link Green™ eco-friendly technology, providing energy savings, reduced power consumption, and a longer product life without sacrificing operational performance or functionality. This switch helps to conserve energy through methods such as Link Status and Cable Length Detection. The Link Status feature automatically powers down ports that have no link, allowing the switch to save substantial amounts of energy by cutting power for unused ports or ports connected to computers that have been shut down. It can also detect connected cable lengths, and adjust power usage accordingly, helping you save energy without affecting networking performance. In addition, the fan-less design extends the switch’s life and also reduces noise. |
