LONGSPAN Base Unit: long-range POE (powered via POE-in or VPSU-57V-X). Working together, LONGSPAN’s Base and Camera units deliver unprecedented power and bandwidth over extreme lengths of regular Cat 5e or Cat 6 network cable, enabling a dependable connection to IP cameras and other remote network devices. IP cameras can demand peak network bandwidth of several times their average data rate while transmitting critical high-activity or low-light scenes. That's why LONGSPAN has been designed to support the full 200Mbps bandwidth required for reliable 100Base-T Ethernet at up to 840 metres Cat 6 (or 690 metres Cat 5e).

- As a point-to-point solution with no mid-cable equipment and smart, automatic self-configuration, installation is simple and instantaneous.
- LONGSPAN even supports single-pair UTP cables, providing a fast upgrade solution for legacy analogue systems.
- For longer distances, LONGSPAN can automatically negotiate a 10Base-T connection, supporting a range in excess of 1000 metres and over ten times the conventional limit for cabled Ethernet.

The Lindy 200m Fibre Optic USB 2.0 Extender supports far longer distances than standard copper cables. It is a compact two part hardware solution comprising of a transmitter dongle that connects directly to your computer and receiver dongle that connects to the USB peripheral. These are then joined together using LC Multimode Simplex Fibre.The small form factor of the Extender allows for an easy and discreet installation while the use of fibre helps rule out the possibility of electrical interference in the extended signal.

Ideal for remote desktop links, industrial control, surveillance and external storage applications the extender gives long distance access to USB keyboards and mice, printers, scanners, webcams, audio devices, disc burners, external drive storage and much more.

Connecting a USB hub to the receiver also gives additional access to a larger number of USB devices.

For added convenience the Fibre Optic USB 2.0 Extender is supplied with a power supply, which can be connected should additional power be required.

Composition of Long Reach PoE over UTP Extender Kit The LRP-101U-KIT consists of a Long Reach PoE injector and a Long Reach PoE extender set which can work in pair anywhere on your network infrastructure. It contains two brand-new products: ■ LRP-101UH: 1-Port 10/100TX PoE PD + 1-Port UTP Long Reach PoE Injector ■ LRP-101UE: 1-Port 10/100TX PoE PSE + 1-Port UTP Long Reach PoE Extender The LRP-101UH transmits data and power over UTP cable to the LRP-101UE, which can be located as far as 500m away. It will then deliver the data and power output with a maximum of up to 25 watts to a PoE PD over Ethernet cable, thus expediting the IP surveillance network or wireless LAN infrastructure in long distance. Both of the two products come in a compact but rugged metal housing. Their wall-mounted design fits easily in any space-limited location. IP Ethernet and Power over Long UTP or Twisted-pair Cable A normal UTP cable can only be extended up to 100 meters, but the LRP-101U-KIT can extend PoE networking up to 500 meters (1,640ft.) over long 4-pair UTP cable or up to 300 meters (1,000ft.) over an existing 1-pair twisted-pair cable, such as telephone wire, with stable, high-quality video transmission. It eliminates the need for additional remote site power while allowing a single power source to provide power to both LRP extenders and the PoE IP camera at long range.
